Idaho
According to an article in the USA Today (Which State has the Fastest Growing
Economy), the answer is surprisingly, Idaho! The state is in the middle of a 20 year "boom" that is expected to
continue over the next 8-10 years. Idaho also has the lowest level of unemployment in the nation. In fact, all sectors in
the state are doing well. These include: farming, construction, tourism and service industries.
Greenville, South Carolina
Another place that is currently booming is Greenville, South Carolina. Auto manufacturing
plants along with Michelin's headquarters have allowed this city to avoid housing downturn this year altogether. It's
location between Charlotte and Atlanta is also a factor.
